240 Day Contract

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of electronic repairs, computer systems, networks and software applications.

 

REPORTS:  Executive Director of Technology/Technology Support Specialist Supervisor

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintains and repairs district computers, networks and peripherals.
2. Installs computer hardware, operating systems software and other softwares.
3. Assists in any projects undertaken involving technology equipment and network access as required.
4. Basic understanding of wired and wireless networks.
5. Maintains confidentiality.
6. Abides by all district policies and state and federal laws.
7. Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Works at sites in classrooms and other instructional areas.  Must travel to and from assigned facilities as needed for support work.

  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently.

Ability to go up and down ladders. 

Ability to squat or work on knees occasionally.
