PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides instructional technology/professional development training to district staff throughout the year.

2. Provides instructional technology/professional development training during all professional development days.

3. Provides additional support and training to new teachers regarding district instructional technology/professional development requirements.

4. Provides one-on-one support to teachers in their classrooms.

5. Provides training and assistance to reading and math teachers in the input of credentialing data.

6. Works collaboratively with district media specialists, teachers and staff in the use of new and existing software and technology tools in the classroom.

7. Conducts beginning and end of year evaluations to assess training effectiveness and needs.

8. Attends the District Professional Development Committee meetings.

9. Assists with District Technology Committee meetings.

10. Works collaboratively with professional development staff, directors and other coordinators.

11. Takes necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment and facilities.

12. Completes reports and other school-related paperwork within time and date requested.

13. Attends and participates in faculty meetings and professional activities, and serves on committees as required.

14. Is actively involved in professional growth activities.

15. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in relation to school equipment and supplies.

16. Maintains confidentiality.

17. Abides by all district policies and state and federal laws.

18. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Number of days and compensation is based on Board approved certified salary schedule and the employee work calendar.

 

 EVALUATION:

 Performance  of  this  job  will  be  evaluated  in  accordance  with  provisions  of  the  Board’s  policy  on

 Evaluation of Professional Personnel.

 

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 Ability to stand, walk, squat frequently.

 Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently.
