QUALIFICATIONS:
- Assists in curriculum development and professional development as related to curricular needs in mathematics throughout the school year.
- Leads the mathematics textbook adoption process.
- Assists with the district assessments and data analysis.
- Serves on the District Curriculum and Professional Development Committees.
- Provides mathematics curriculum training to district staff throughout the year.
- Provides training during all professional development days.
- Provides additional support and training to new teachers regarding district mathematics curriculum requirements.
- Provides one-on-one support for mathematics curriculum integration projects to classroom teachers.
- Facilitates mathematics across all disciplines.
- Assists Title I mathematics teachers and attends meetings as deemed appropriate.
- Serves on mathematics articulation teams.
- Assists with the district accreditation process.
- Provides training and assistance to mathematics teachers in the input of credentialing data.
- Monitors vertical and horizontal alignment of the mathematics curriculum district wide.
- Completes reports and other school-related paperwork within time and date requested.
- Attends and participates in faculty meetings and professional activities, and serves on committees as required.
- Is actively involved in professional growth activities.
- Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in relation to school equipment and supplies.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Abides by all district policies and state and federal laws.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to stand, walk, squat frequently.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently.
